Pharmaceutical and Health Products
Tamper-evident bands, full-body sleeves, and unit-dose wraps for medicine and supplements.
Pharmaceutical and nutraceutical packaging uses PETG shrink film in two roles: tamper-evident neck bands that tear visibly once opened, and full-body sleeves that carry dosage text and barcodes on compact bottles. Low machine-direction shrink (MD ≤3.0%) keeps band height stable, so the perforation tears cleanly and the band cannot be reseated.
Where the pack must stay recyclable in the PET stream, CPET (TD 74±2%, RIC 1, melting point 230°C) lets the band or sleeve be recycled together with the PET bottle. The film is halogen-free and certified to GRS, REACH, and RoHS; the band wraps the closure exterior only and never contacts the medicine.
